Vintage Cars Enhance the Woodinville Image

Enjoy the Pure Artistry of Restored Automobiles You See Around Woodinville and Soak Up the Nostalgia

Walking along Woodinville's "Main Street" (175th), you must admire the way most businesses keep nice "front yards." They plant attractive flower-beds or maintain well-trimmed greenery.  And check out the yellow convertable gracing the main drag.

The owner of the nicely landscaped Windermere office, where we spotted this classic car, encourages his broker with the vintage automobile collection to park them in a prominent spot.

This '48 Studebaker convertable is all stock, meaning no changes to the orginal design the manufacturer put out six decades ago.  Studebaker owner Tom Berg, of Woodinville, admits to only a new paint job.

Studebaker, First in style ... first in comfort ... first by far with a postwar car.  Studebaker stole a march on other postwar American car manufactures by producing the first line of modern styles.

Thank goodness for all the vintage car restorers in Woodinville.  Some belong to car clubs, but most are "hidden" in Woodinville, said Tom Berg.  These car lovers only bring out their art for car shows.  Surely their efforts rise to the level of art.
