Donated Wheelchair Ramp Gives Woodinville Man Independence

Volunteers from the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties built 15 ramps across two counties in one day.

Robert Garross of Woodinville can enter and leave his home without assistance for the first time in years, thanks to Joshua Brookshier, of Kitchen Plus, and his team who constructed a free wheelchair access ramp as part of the Master Builders Care Foundation’s Rampathon event.

Volunteers from the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties built 15 free wheelchair ramps for low-income disabled homeowners on one day for the event on May 19. Since 1993, teams from the Master Builders Association have constructed 320 wheelchair ramps.
