Reaching out to our Council.....

Snohomish County’s planning and development department is shutting down almost every collective garden and medical cannabis access point in the county. We need to reach out to the County Council and Executive to let them know shutting down these organizations is contrary to the will of the people, public safety, and the county’s financial interests. By closing these organizations, medical cannabis is being driven back to the shadows of the black market, putting patients at risk and eliminating tens of thousands of dollars in tax revenue.

We need your help, quickly and en masse! We urge you and your customers to email the following individuals about this issue –an example email is below in red:

County Executive: The Honorable John Lovick, County.executive@co.snohomish.wa.us
County Councilmembers: The Honorable John Koster, John.Koster@snoco.org
The Honorable Brian Sullivan, Brian.Sullivan@snoco.org
The Honorable Stephanie Wright, stephanie.wright@snoco.org
The Honorable Dave Gossett, Dave.Gossett@snoco.org
The Honorable Dave Somers, Dave.Somers@snoco.org

“I am a patient, diagnosed with a debilitating medical condition. Snohomish County is threatening to cut off my supply to safe, medical-grade cannabis. I am emailing to respectfully request that the county work with patients and collective gardens to stop the closure of tax-paying, legal, medical cannabis organizations. Thank you for your attention to this vitally important issue.
