Woodinville Water District serves residents of the city and unincorporated Woodinville. The district purchases itsMore water from the City of Seattle, with the majority of the water coming from the Tolt River Reservoir. Occasionally water is imported from the Cedar River Reservoir. The water district offers several water conservation programs for businesses and residents, as well as classroom presentations for schools. There is also a water-wise demonstration garden open for public viewing at district headquarters.

Bear Creek Elementary School is part of the Northshore School District. The school has both half-day and full-dayMore kindergarten programs, and elementary advanced placement courses for grades 2 through 6.

Bear Creek was built in 1988; the campus straddles a small creek, with the main school buildings on one side and a large playground opposite connected by a bridge spanning the creek. Before- and after-school day care is offered by the Northshore YMCA. A popular salmon release program teaches 5th and 6th grade students salmon conservation.

The Bear Creek PTA supports a variety of school enrichment programs, including the after-school Creative Arts Program (CAP), science and math fairs and a read-a-thon.
