Darrell Hubbard Jr, Neighbor

Born and raised in Seattle, I currently do the prep sports scene for Renton. A graduate from Franklin High School, during my time there I had the privilege to play football, cross-country and lacrosse, along with playing in the marching band.

At Washington State University I was a hip-hop disc jockey for two years, as well as a member of the WSU sports crew during the 2002 football season, working as a ground crew member for FSNW and TBS. I survived WSU's Cable 8 news program, with my final two news packages being basketball recaps.

From 2004-2010 I pursued other career opportunities, except radio promotions, until I decided to give news writing another shot. I found that I really appreciate the work I do now for prep sports.
