Gono Paro, Neighbor

I really appreciate a good movie. 

That includes those that honestly entertain but especially those that challenge our way of thinking and even suggest alternate ways.  Like one of my favorites, American Beauty, which makes us think about what is normal and what we lose when we conform to society's definition.  Or the classic Citizen Kane, a film that innovatively explores the weight and power of circumstance in shaping our lives as distilled into that single word 'Rosebud.' Exit through the Gift Shop, the masterfully done film in documentary's clothing by street artist Banksy is a more recent example of a film that questions art as commerce.

I could go on but I think you get the idea. 

I welcome the opportunity to voice my appreciation of quality movies as well as my disappointment in movies that seek only to exploit for commercial interests.
