A briefing on ‘green and living’ systems will be presented at the 21 Acres Center for Local Food and Sustainable Living on Friday, February 1st, 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

By following a deliberate and iterative design and construction process, 21 Acres integrated features and elements from both green and living buildings over a multi-year timespan.  The result of working with a professional team with expertise in sustainable construction, and a never waivering vision towards low-impact design, is a living, learning laboratory for the public and professionals.

Experts from the architectural and systems team will be on site during this event to answer questions and to provide insight into best practices related to operations and expense. Learn more about the sustainable building features. Event is free and open to the general public. This briefing kicks off on-going building tours to be held on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., beginning February 8th. Feel free to stop by during those times to talk to a 21 Acres representative, tour the green building, and visit the 21 Acres Farm Market.
