Presented by 21 Acres and Tilth Producers of Washington, as part of Washington Organic Week.

Learn all you need to brew great tasting organic beer & craft organic cider at home!

Award winning homebrewer and co-owner of Populuxe Brewing, Peter Charbonnier will walk you through the organic extract brewing process - from recipe formulation, sanitation, brewing, fermentation and bottling. Brew a delicious Organic Pale Ale in class and sample some of the finished product.

Bear & Nancy Bishop owners of Alpenfire Cider will walk you through apple selection, juicing, to sulfite or not to sulfite (that is the question!). Basic lab work: pH, Acidity, Specific Gravity and why they matter. We won’t be able to
produce and sample a cider but we will taste some cider varieties!
