21 Acres: Solar Home Design

This class takes place on two consecutive Saturdays, Sept. 22 and Sept. 29. 9 am to 3 pm each day.

Designed as a do-it-yourself (DIY) format this class will provide extensive resources for solar energy options for the typical homeowner - with a true DIY teaching structure. Students will leave knowing where to go for plans, product sources, expert professionals and more.

About 21 Acres School

We are a non-profit, continuing education school utilizing an agricultural context in which to learn how to apply principles of sustainable agriculture. The School is located in the newly green-built Center for Local Food and Sustainable Living.

Our continuing education courses feature sustainable living choices, investigating sustainable agriculture, health, climate change issues, as well as food processing and culinary in our commercial kitchen. The Sustainability &
